The London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC) provides long-term, woman-centred, trauma-informed counselling, advocacy and support to women and girls over the age of 12 who are or have been:
Abused by an intimate partner
Sexually assaulted
Sexually exploited into the commercial sex trade (prostitution, trafficking, pornography)
Tortured by an intimate partner, sex purchaser, trafficker, pimp
Sexually harassed/harassed in the workplace
When you either call (519-432-2204) or walk-in (797 York Street) to the London Abused Women’s Centre, you will be provided with immediate access to service. This may include an immediate triage appointment to review safety planning and/or an appointment to attend an intake information session and/or an individual appointment.
